Dannappa is one of three sons born into a very poor family, he was sent to work at a very young age and was rescued from child labor by a government program. He was sent to Happy Home for shelter. He has a speech impediment and difficulty in school but is slowly improving as he is attending school for the first time. He may actually fall on the autism spectrum but has never been tested.
Dannappa is kind and helpful, he likes the Indian sport Kabbadi and enjoys volleyball. He is learning to play the congo. He has become active and more trusting of others as he was very skittish when he first came.
